Extreme driving courses and motorcycle riding lessons

Extreme driving means exercises on a closed training ground or racetrack: skid recovery, emergency braking, obstacle avoidance, motorcycle riding from scratch. Choose an instructor by program, price and reviews — or give your experience, car or motorcycle and what you want to practice in an order.

How much extreme driving courses cost

What affects the price

  • Training car or your own

Lessons in a training car and in your own usually have different prices: skids and emergency braking wear out tires and brake pads quickly.

  • Training ground and surface

Renting a racetrack or a skid pad may be included in the lesson price or paid for separately.

  • A single lesson or a course

A lesson on one exercise, a course with several levels or a special winter driving course — these are programs of different scope.

  • Private or in a group

A private lesson, a small group or training for a company's drivers each have a different price per person, and in a group everyone spends less time at the wheel.

  • Motorcycle and gear

A training motorcycle, a helmet and riding gear may be included in the lesson price or rented separately.

Prices come from specialists' profiles on Nexperity and update automatically. You agree the final price with the specialist directly.

How to choose a defensive driving instructor

  1. 1

    Where the exercises take place

Ask where skids and emergency braking are practiced. These exercises are done on a closed training ground or a racetrack, not on public roads.

  2. 2

    The instructor's experience

Find out where the instructor trained, whether they have competed and how many years they have taught drivers. Nexperity does not check instructors' qualifications.

  3. 3

    The lesson program

It is good when a lesson starts with seating position and hand placement on the wheel, and the instructor goes over mistakes after each exercise.

  4. 4

    Requirements for your car

If you will train in your own car, ask about the requirements for its condition and tires. Or ask whether the instructor has a training car.

  5. 5

    A motorcycle that fits you

Check whether you will get a training motorcycle on which your feet reach the ground, plus a helmet, gloves and protection.

What to put in the order

The more precise the description, the more precise the prices in responses.
  • What you want to practice: skids, emergency braking, winter driving or drifting

  • What you will train on: a car or a motorcycle, your own or a training one

  • Your experience: how many years behind the wheel, which category your license has

  • Your car's drive type and gearbox, if you will train in it

  • Private or in a group — and how many drivers will train

  • How often you are ready to train, and payment per lesson or per course
