How Nexperity works

Nexperity is a services marketplace in Ukraine. Clients find specialists here, and specialists find orders: from repairs and tutoring to IT, design and events. This page walks through the whole path for both sides, from the first search to the review.

What the name Nexperity means

The name is made of two Latin words.

Nex
nexusa connection, what binds things together
perity
peritiexperienced people, those who know their craft

Together they make “a connection with those who know their craft”. That is what the platform does: it connects people who need help with specialists who know how to give it.

The Nexperity mark says the same: the two halves of the letter N are clients and specialists, and the ring between them is the platform that connects them.

Two roles, one account

Nexperity has two sides: a client looks for someone to take on a job, and a specialist offers their services and looks for new clients.

One account can be both. After signing up you choose where to start: looking for a specialist or offering services. You can add a specialist profile later too, and you switch between the modes in your workspace.

Specialist profiles, prices and public orders are open to browse without signing up. To send a request, post an order or respond to one, you sign in.

For clients

For clients: two ways to a specialist

Find the person yourself, or describe the job and wait for responses. Both ways are free and lead to the same place: a connection with a specialist who fits your particular job.

Way 1

Find a specialist yourself

  1. 1Search by service, category or city — or just describe the job in your own words.
  2. 2Compare profiles: services with prices, portfolio and client reviews are visible before the first message.
  3. 3Send a direct request from the profile page with a short description of the job. The specialist accepts or declines it, and you get a notification.
Way 2

Post an order

  1. 1Describe the job once: what needs doing, the payment, the format — online or in person — and the city.
  2. 2Specialists whom your job suits send responses: how they will do the work, a price and, optionally, a timeline.
  3. 3Compare the responses and accept one. An order stays open for 30 days, and you can cancel it at any time before that.
For specialists

For specialists: one profile, two sources of clients

Clients find you themselves — in Nexperity's search and even in Google — and write from your profile, and you pick the public orders that suit you. All of it in one workspace.

  • Profile and services

A photo, a description, your region, way of working and portfolio. Each service has a category, a description and a price: fixed, a range, hourly or “on request”. Once the profile is complete, it appears in search and on the category pages.
  • Direct requests

Clients send a request from your profile page, and you accept or decline it. If you need no new requests right now, you can turn them off.
  • Order feed

Public orders in your categories, in your workspace. Respond to the ones that suit you: describe how you will do the task and give a price.
  • Orders in Telegram

Connect Telegram, and new orders for your services arrive there as soon as they are posted.
  • Statistics

The dashboard shows search appearances, profile views, requests and what happened to your responses.
  • Your profile in Google

Your profile page is open to Google and other search engines. So people who search for a service straight in Google can find you too, and write to you from your profile.

Contacts open only after acceptance

Until then, each side decides what to show. Acceptance is when the specialist accepts your direct request or you accept their response to your order.

  • For each contact — email, phone and Telegram — a specialist chooses “Public”, “After connection” or “Hidden”.
  • A client decides which of their contacts to reveal to the specialist after acceptance. A client's contacts are never public.
  • An order can be posted without a name and photo. The anonymity lasts until acceptance, and the job description is visible to everyone.
  • After acceptance, each side sees what the other allowed. You can also message on Nexperity when the chat is on: on an order the client decides that, on a direct request the specialist does.

Reviews only for real collaboration

Only a client who worked with a specialist through Nexperity can leave a review, and only once the work is done.

When the work is done, the client marks the order or the request completed and says whether they recommend the specialist. A few words with the review are optional.

One client, one review of a specialist, however many times you work together. The client can change or delete their review at any time.

In search and on the profile, reviews show as two numbers: how many clients recommend the specialist and how many do not. They also decide the order in search and on the category pages.

A specialist can complain about an unfair review, and the Nexperity team will look into it.
