Excel, Photoshop, Figma and AutoCAD lessons with a teacher

Excel, Photoshop, Figma or AutoCAD courses with a teacher — when tutorials fall short: work reports to sort out, drawings to hand in or a program to learn for a new job. Name the program, version and task in an order — teachers will respond. Or browse portfolios, lesson prices and reviews.

How much Excel, Photoshop or AutoCAD lessons cost

What affects the price

  • Program and level

Word or Excel basics are one thing; Revit, VBA macros or Power Query call for the teacher's professional experience in design or analytics, so such lessons usually cost more.

  • Exercises or your own files

For a lesson on standard exercises the teacher already has materials, while working through your reports or drawings means preparing for every session separately.

  • A course or a one-off consultation

A full course from the interface to your own project and a single consultation on a specific task are priced differently: per lesson, per course or by the hour.

  • Reviewing work between lessons

Comments on Figma layouts or drawings you made on your own between sessions take the teacher's time and may be paid for separately.

  • One learner or a team

Teaching Excel to several employees at an office is a different job from a one-to-one online lesson, so the price is usually set per group or by the hour.

Prices come from specialists' profiles on Nexperity and update automatically. You agree the final price with the specialist directly.

How to choose a software teacher

  1. 1

    Works in the program

It is good when the teacher uses the program every day: an accountant in Excel, a designer in Figma, a drafter in AutoCAD. Look for layouts, drawings or sample spreadsheets in the portfolio.

  2. 2

    Your version and interface language

Some newer functions, such as XLOOKUP, are missing from older versions of Excel, and menu items are named differently in Ukrainian and English. Ask which version and interface language the teacher will work in.

  3. 3

    Practice during the lesson

Check whether you will work in the program yourself while the teacher sees your screen, or only watch them show everything on theirs.

  4. 4

    A plan for your task

Ask for a plan after the first session: what exactly you need to master for your reports, drawings or layouts. A generic course from the first tab spends time on things you never do.

  5. 5

    What document you get

A certificate issued by the teacher is not the same as an international Microsoft, Adobe or Autodesk certificate: that one is earned only by passing their exam. Ask about the document before you start.

What to put in the order

The more precise the description, the more precise the prices in responses.
  • The program, its version and interface language

  • Your level: from scratch, basic skills or a specific topic to go deeper into

  • What for: work reports, drawings, website layouts, photo editing or a new profession

  • Who will learn: you, a child or several employees

  • Format: online or in person — and in which district, how often and how long a lesson is

  • Payment: per lesson, for the whole course or by the hour
